At the scene, red sand and soil spilled onto DT716 Road, covering a stretch of about 30 metres. In some places, deposits more than 20 cm deep blocked most of the roadway, preventing vehicles from passing.
Local authorities deployed military personnel, police officers and heavy machinery to clear the debris and restore traffic.
The incident marked the second landslide at the site in just over a week.
A similar incident on May 28 buried around 30 metres of the same road and also sent large amounts of red sand into a nearby cemetery, covering several graves.
Weather conditions and landslide-prone areas are being closely monitored as the rainy season intensifies.
