World Environment Day and Vietnam's Sea and Island Week will be held as planned

The Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Nguyen Minh Quang held a working session on May 16 with the Administrations of Environment and Sea and Islands on the celebration of 2012 Environment Day and Sea and Island Week. These two events to be hosted by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment and will take place at the same time. There are proposal for the change of timings.

However, Minister Quang said the celebration of these two events at the same timing will have greater media impact so they will be held as planned.

The rally on the world Environment Day will be the main event on June 6th. The live artistic show marking the Sea and Island Week will take place on June 8th.
