The project that won the First Prize in the VACNE competition continues to receive the championship award at the Startup Competition in the United Kingdom.
(VACNE, 17/6/2025) - The topic: “Artificial Wood Production from Straw” by the group of contestants Straw Wood, from Tra Vinh University, has just won the championship of the GVB Prize Startup Competition 2025 in London (United Kingdom) on June 15, 2025.
The idea "Straw wood - Artificial wood from straw" from Tra Vinh University has excellently surpassed more than 100 entries from 5 countries, reached the final round in London and won the championship title of the competition.

It is known that the GVB Prize 2025 Startup Competition in London is an activity within the framework of the Global Vietnam Business Festival 2025 with the theme "Green Transition and Digital Transition". This series of events is organized by HaMy Academy (United Kingdom) & KAmedia in coordination with the National Center for Innovative Startup Support (NSSC - Ministry of Science and Technology), aiming at young Vietnamese startups, as well as connecting with investors to explore funding opportunities and expand international cooperation networks.
At the Finals, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Thanh - representative of the project authors group said: “Conquering the highest position of the competition is a great pride for our group.
