(VACNE) – The Vietnam Association for Conservation of Nature and Environment (VACNE) is expected to organize a seminar 'Natural Resources and Green Transition in Vietnam,' combined with the launch of a book of the same name published by the Truth National Political Publishing House.

The seminar will take place starting at 9:00 AM, Wednesday, April 22, 2026, in Hanoi and will be organized in both in-person and online formats.

The in-person event will be held at the VNECONOMY Building, 96 Hoang Quoc Viet, Hanoi.

The seminar is held in the context of the world and Vietnam facing many major challenges such as climate change, biodiversity loss, environmental pollution, and depletion of natural resources. In this context, the green transition is becoming an inevitable trend to aim for sustainable development, ensuring harmony between economic growth, environmental protection, and social equity.

The seminar was organized to introduce the book "Natural Resources and Green Transition in Vietnam," compiled by VACNE and published by the National Political Publishing House, while also creating a forum for scientists, experts, and managers to exchange and discuss theoretical and practical issues of the green transition process in Vietnam today.

The program is expected to have the participation of many experts and scientists in the field of resources and environment, such as Dr. Nguyễn Ngọc Sinh, Prof. Dr. Sc. Đặng Huy Huỳnh, Prof. Dr. Sc. Trương Quang Học, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyễn Danh Sơn, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyễn Chu Hồi, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Lưu Đức Hải, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Lê Xuân Cảnh, along with representatives of the book's author group.

Through scientific exchanges and discussions at the seminar, VACNE expects to contribute to spreading the scientific and practical values of the research work, while promoting community awareness and action regarding the rational use of natural resources, environmental protection, and advancing green transformation for the sustainable development of the country.

The Organizing Committee sincerely invites scientists, experts, managers, students, and those interested in the field of natural resources and the environment to attend in person or follow the program online. The interest and participation of a large number of delegates and the public will contribute to spreading scientific values, promoting dialogue, and action towards the goal of green and sustainable development in Vietnam.
