In the first half of this year, more than 1 million tourists visited Cao Bang, bringing in a revenue of more than 31,000 million USD, up 23% against last year and fulfilling 53% of the plan of 2024.

To Thi Trang, Deputy Director of the provincial Culture, Sports and Tourism Department, said they’ve organized training courses to enhance how people interact with tourists, hosted sports competitions for ethnic minorities, established folk culture clubs, supported traditional art troupes, and built community bookcases.

“These activities have contributed to preserving and promoting the traditional cultural values of ethnic groups, showcasing cultural heritage, and fostering the sustainable development of Cao Bang's tourism," Trang added.

Cao Bang aims to welcome at least 2.2 million visitors this year. In addition to four routes to Non Nuoc Geopark, Cao Bang is working with Ha Giang province to complete the fifth route, which will connect with Dong Van Geopark and extend towards Lang Son Geopark.
