Talent Prize open for climate change photographers

The Embassy of Denmark launched its Talent Prize 2014 in Hanoi on June 6, with the theme of “Climate Change in Photography”.

Ambassador John Nielsen said that the contest aims to explore how environmental issues and consequences are understood and expressed through photography.

He expressed his hope that it will help underline the increasing importance of climate change response and prove that each person can make a difference.

The contest is open from June 6 to August 29 for all professional and amateur photographers from 18 to 35.

Danish and Vietnamese experts will select the best 80 entries for exhibitions in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City in late October and early November.

The embassy’s annual prize is to encourage and recognise young Vietnamese talents in various fields.
