(VACNE) – According to the allocation of the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations (VUSTA), the Vietnam Association for Conservation of Nature and Environment (VACNE) was appointed as the Head of Block V of the Emulation Block for Science, Economy, Environment and Climate Change in 2026.

Block V currently includes 12 professional associations and societies operating in the fields of economy, resources, environment, energy, transportation, and climate change, specifically including:

1. Vietnam Association for Nature and Environment Protection (Block Leader);

2. Vietnam Clean Water and Environment Association (Deputy Block Leader);

3. Vietnam Environmental Economics Association;

4. Vietnam Clean Energy Association;

5. Vietnam Society of Science and Technology of the Sea;

6. Vietnam Transport Environmental Association;

7. Vietnam Dam and Water Resources Development Association;

8. Vietnam Meteorological and Hydrological Association;

9. Vietnam Marine Aquaculture Association;

10. Vietnam Society for Energy Saving and Efficient Use of Energy;

11. Vietnam Environmental Industry Association;

12. Hội Kinh tế và Vận tải đường sắt Việt Nam.

In 2026, Block V plans to implement several key activities to enhance coordination among member associations and improve the effectiveness of the emulation movement throughout the block.

VACNE's assumption of the role of Head of the Science, Economics, Environment, and Climate Change Emulation Block in 2026 is expected to further promote research, consultancy, critique, and scientific communication activities in the fields of green economy, environmental protection, and climate change response.
