In an effort to protect the environment and enhance the aesthetic appeal of tourist spots such as beaches, coral reefs, and recreational areas on the Son Tra Peninsula, the Management Board of the Son Tra Peninsula and Da Nang’s Tourism Beaches has connected various clubs, volunteer groups, and teams to organise clean-up activities, and to collect waste both underwater and on land, contributing to the development of a green, clean, and beautiful destination.

‘Conservation stories - perspectives from young conservationists’ is a talk show within the framework of the Student Conference on Nature Conservation 2024 (SCNC 2024) jointly organised by the University of Education, a member school of the University of Da Nang-UD, WildAct Viet Nam, the Frankfurt Zoological Society and the Green Viet Nam biodiversity conservation centre at the end of August. Here, stories and perspectives related to the role of the young generation in protecting nature are put into constructive discussions.

The northeastern province of Quang Ninh will initiate a three-day clean-up campaign for the storm-battered Ha Long Bay, Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Cao Tuong Huy told local tourism agencies and business at a meeting on September 13.
Safety barriers to be set around reservoirs
