More rare animals handed over to Cuc Phuong National Park

Cuc Phuong National Park in the northern province of Ninh Binh has received seven rare and endangered animals over the past week.
Among those, two white-bellied pheasants were handed over by Tran Van Duc’s family in Thai Binh Province's Kien Xuong District.

The others are two long-tailed monkeys and one short-tailed monkey, handed over by people in Haiphong City and Hai Duong Province on September 25.
The animals are all listed as rare and endangered species that need protection.
According to Cuc Phuong National Park’s Rescue, Conservation and Development Centre, the rescued animals will be given health checks and cared for to ensure the most effective conservation strategies.
