The Đại tree on the banks of the Dang River is recognized as a Vietnamese Heritage Tree

(VACNE) – It is a thousand-year-old white flower tree at Ha temple, Dong Thousand village, Dong Hoi commune, Dong Anh district, Hanoi city, which has just been solemnly celebrated by the local government and people to recognize the Vietnamese Heritage Tree this morning.

This white flower tree is associated with the Hạ temple on the banks of the Dang River to worship the Great Lang King one of the 3 deputies of Phu Dong in the fight to drive out the An, in the temple today still retains 24 ordains of dynasties.

Despite many centuries, the Đai tree is still green, well protected by local people.

Prof. Dr. Dang Huy Huynh attended and awarded the Certificate of Recognition of Vietnamese Heritage Trees to the locality. Attending the ceremony were also the Party Committee, The People's Committee,  the Dong Hoi Social Fatherland Front and a large number of people in the region.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Chien, Vice Chairman of Dong Hoi Social People's Committee also said: The fact that the Ha Temple tree was honored with the Vietnamese Heritage tree, further enhances the historical significance of the relic area; At the same time, contributing to the development of the tourism economy, raising awareness for the community about protecting culture, appreciating history and protecting the environment in Dong Hoi.
