During the tour, which is under the theme “for the cause of environmental protection and sustainable development”, young volunteers carrying banners with such slogans as :”the youth-solidarity-friendship-future”, “two roofs-one green”, and “let’s protect the environment”, - all while demonstrating their willingness to endure the hot weather.
“I felt really touched at being cared for by my Vietnamese friends after I fainted,” said Lin Ninh, a Chinese volunteer.
Ninh said that they have become very close friends since then.
Anyone who see the tours are moved by the willingness of participants to help each other overcome the exhaustion, said Chen Ling, a reporter of the Chinese Radio International, adding that the cooperative spirit will help the team to send the message of friendship to the localities through which they pass.
On July 10, they will travel around Lang Son City before continuing the tour in China’s province of Guang Xi on July 11.
