According to Chairman of the Vietnam Association of Architects Nguyen Tan Van, the 5th Vietnam Green Architecture Award honours works based on two criteria: cultural identity, advanced ideas in architecture and energy saving. In particular, works using smart materials, featuring the Vietnamese national identity, having supportive solutions, bringing a better life to the community, especially in difficult areas, will be highly appreciated.

Architectural works created by Vietnamese people and built on the territory of Vietnam or abroad, or architectural works created by foreigners but built on the territory of Vietnam are also allowed to participate.
In addition, approved architectural design, construction planning projects and approved excellent green architectural solutions may be sent to the contest.
The organisers receive works and projects from now until the end of December 29, 2019, at the Vietnam Association of Architects, at No.40 Tang Bat Ho, Hanoi.
