(VACNE) - This afternoon, 01.04.2013, Dr. Paul Barber, Director of Arbor Carbon Western Australia has came to VACNE office to make a presentation and exchange experience with Vietnamese scientists on pests, diseases and health promotionfor for trees.

This is one of Australia's experts, but fully agree with the fact of conservation of  Vietnam Heritage Tree initiated by VACNE. He has two time came to Viet Nam together with international experts to diagnose and propose solutions for health recovery ancient  trees in Voi Phuc temple, Thuy Khue (Hanoi), after they were   honored by VACNE as Vietnam Heritage Trees.

After a brief introduction about Arbor Carbon Western Australia, Dr. Paul Barber presented the rationale and practice of pest control solutions and restore the health of plants, especially ancient  trees. Accordingly, the core problem is the lack of knowledge of the people in the care and protection of trees. Primary care as excessive digging, spraying herbicides, built landfill tub too thick around the base, on top of the roots, pruning too much ... inadvertently reduce the ability to fight for the trees; while creatingconditions for invasive pests, tree death.
Vivid images, he shared specific experiences Arbor Carbon has been successful in Australia, as well as in his recent research trip in Nam Dinh, Hanoi (Vietnam); simultaneously presentedhis desire towards the cooperation between the two sides in the prevention of disease in ancient  trees.
Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Sinh, the VACNE President   expressed the hope that the support and cooperation of foreign scientists, including Australian experts in solving problems  now like medical research planttrees, contribute to the sustainable management of the Vietnam Heritage trees. /.
