Green Street Campaign in one of the meaningful activities of Go Green Club (GGC) Hanoi in the framework of Go Green program implemented by Toyota Motor Vietnam in collaboration with Vietnam Environmental Administration and Ministry of Education and Training. The first phase Green Street campaign to target households and offices was very successful.
In Hanoi, the 2nd Green Street campaign was made as an extracurricular activity for students inside and outside classrooms. The program consists of two main parts: teaching Green Dance (A green living day) for students; incorporating discussions in classes with various games and small activities but have positive impacts on the environment.
Through interesting intellectual games that contain educational information on environmental protection, the program provides students with basic and useful information that helps them improve their thoughts and understanding about their surrounding environment. In addition, they also have a chance to watch short cartoons on natural & animal protection, and wrong behaviors that cause environmental pollution.
Members of Go Green Club also guide students to take part in practical activities to protect environment such as folding paper bags, making recycling products from old ones; guiding students to save electricity and water in their houses; sweeping school areas, classrooms and planting trees.
