Opening ceremony of the exhibition on achievements of environmental protection in Vietnam

This morning (17 November), the exhibition of achievements on environmental protection in Vietnam was officially opened at the National Conference Centre in the framework of The 3rd National Conference on Environment.

 
 

 

 

 

 
 
Attending the opening ceremony having Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Cach Tuyen, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Natural Resource cum Director General of the Vietnam Environment Administration (VEA), Dr. Le Ke Son, Deputy Director General of VEA, Mr. Le Xuan Ly, Director of the Environmental Police Department, Mr. Nguyen Nam Phuong, Director of the Vietnam Environmental Protection Fund, Mr. Le Dinh Ai, Director General of the Vietnam Resources and Environment Corporation and other delegates and representatives of the national and international agencies, institutes, organizations and etc.

The exhibition was a practical activity to praise, assess, and record the results of environmental protection in Vietnam in the period 2005-2010. Speaking at the exhibition, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Cach Tuyen said that the exhibition is to mark and record results of the environmental protection. It also a chance for all levels of state management agencies and businesses, organizations, etc, to exchange information of environmental protection, sustainable development, the socialization of environmental protection.

There are more than 30 state agencies and businesses involved with 55 pavilions to introduce products, the typical technologies and projects, models of environmental treatment technologies in the world, etc. in the exhibition.

The exhibition takes place over two days on 17 and 18 November.
