During its Vietnam itinerary, Diamond Princess carried more than 2,500 international passengers from the United States, Australia, and several European countries to visit Khanh Hoa. Shortly after docking, visitors began exploring the province, often referred to as the land of agarwood.

Passengers also took part in eco-cultural tours such as visits to Truong Son craft village, boat trips along the Cai River, and cycling through tranquil rural areas.
Arriving in Khanh Hoa in the days leading up to the Lunar New Year of the Horse, visitors had the opportunity to experience various aspects of traditional Vietnamese culture.
Later the same day, Diamond Princess departed Cam Ranh International Port and continued its voyage to Danang.
